NUMBER OF INTERVENTIONS
Prime Minster of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov has enacted a temporary ban on petroleum and diesel fuel exports (Government Decree from 7 October 2009 # 1314). This measure was aimed to stabilize domestic oil products market as was requested by the Parliament of Kazakhstan. The petroleum export ban lasts until 1 January 2010, the ban on diesel fuel - until 1 November 2009.
