Anti-dumping

On February 20th, 2015, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of ceramic tiles and coatings from China (Resolution 029, 20.02.2015).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 6907.9000 and 6908.9000.
The complaint was lodged on October 14th, 2014 by Colceramica S.A.S., Alfagres S.A. and Euroceramica S.A. on behalf of the national industry. The investigation started on the day of the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Republic of Colombia, i.e. on February 25th, 2015.
 
On April 23rd, 2015, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism decided to extend up to May 27th, 2015 the investigation period before issuing a preliminary decision (Resolution 065, 23.04.2015). Resolution 065 was published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Colombia on April 27th, 2015.
 
On May 27th, 2015, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism issued its preliminary findings and decided to continue the investigation without imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty (Resolution 099, 27.05.2015). Resolution 099 was published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Colombia on June 2nd, 2015.

On 7 July 2016, the Colombian authorities terminated the above investigation without the imposition of definitive duties.
