In December 2010 the TÜRK EXIMBANK has signed a protocol with OAIB (Central Anatolian Machinery Exporters Union) for the launch of a new support program for Turkish machinery exports.
 
According to the agreement, machinery exports shall be supported with medium and long-term cash and non-cash loans to strenghten the competitiveness, in particular of SMEs. The total budget for this initiative is USD 500'000'000.
 
To be eligible for the program, the exported goods have to be classified as of Turkish origin The reference value for Turkish origin was increased to 51% of the product value in September 2014 (see measure no.8279).
