On 25 September 2014, Argentina via Decree 1676, extended the increase on import tariffs of 100 Extra-zone “Non-Mercosur” origin products. This increase was initially introduced via Decree 25 on 22 January 2013 and charged 95 goods with a maximum tariff rate of 35 per cent (with the remaining 5 other goods being charged with tariff rates ranging from 20% to 28%).NUMBER OF INTERVENTIONS

Nevertheless, Decree 1676 also introduced modifications to Decree 25, which resulted in the introduction of a 20% - 35% increase of the import tariffs on the following tariff lines: HS 3604.10.00, HS 3808.93.23, HS 8480.41.00, 8903.99.00 and 2204.10.10.
Nevertheless, Decree 1676 besides approving this extension also introduced modifications to Decree 25 which resulted in the decrease of the import tariffs on the following tariff lines: HS 0810.50.00 from 35% to 10%, HS 1209.29.00 from 35% to 0%, HS 1604.14.10 from 35% to 16%, HS 1604.20.10 from 35% to 16%, HS 2002.90.90 from 35% to 14%,
