Import tariff

On March 26, 2009, the Brazilian government announced tariff reductions on the ad-valorem import duty for 16 selected products at the 8 digit level of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) tariff code. (CAMEX Resolution nş 18, from March 26th, 2009)The products affected are from the live animals products sector, as well as basic and other chemical products,rubber and plastics, stones, sand and clay, certain metals and certain machinery products.
