Anti-dumping

On April 20, 2015, the Peruvian National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of pure biodiesel B100 from Argentina (Resolution No. 050-2015/CFD-INDECOPI, 20.04.2015). The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 3826.0000. The complaint was lodged on September 18, 2014 by Industrias del Espino S.A. The investigation started on the day of the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal El Peruano.
 
On 26 October 2016, the Peruvian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of pure biodiesel B100 from Argentina (Resolution No. 189-2016/CDB-INDECOPI). The rate of duty is between USD 122 and 191.6 per tonne depending on the company. The measure is in force for a period of five years,
