Export quota

On 31 December 2014, the General Admission of Customs updated the 'Catalogue of Commodities Subject to Export License Administration' for 2015.

According to the catalogue, the export quota on rare earths will be revoked from 1 January 2015. However, companies exporting rare earths shall still hold a valid export license. The other 48 restricted items remain unchanged since the introduction of the catalogue in 2009.

Due to a lack of recent data, the affected trading partners were identified using UN Comtrade numbers from 2013.
