Import tariff

On 19 December 2014, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued Resolution no. 129 with the extension of the following tariff increases:

  • Dairy products with the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) 0402, 0404 and 0406: the tariffs were raised from 14% and 16% to 28%
  • Peaches (NCM 2008): the tariffs were raised from 14% to 35% for NCM 2008.70.20 and 2008.70.90 and to 55% for NCM 2008.70.10
  • Toys (NCM 9503): the tariffs were raised from 20% to 35%

 
The measure took effect on 1 January 2015 and lasts until 30 June 2015.
