Import tariff

On 14 July 2009, the Turkish government abolished the import tariffs for chlorobenzilate and polilactic acids imported from developing countries as enumerated on an official list. Prior to the change, said products were subject to import duties ranging between 3 and 6.5 percent.
The measure became effective on 18 August 2009, one month after its publication.
