The government of the Republic of Macedonia on 13th February 2012, approved a fund worth USD 111,673,225 for the Program "Financial Support for Agriculture" . The aim of this fund is to provide financial support for the national entities and individuals (registered in governmental records) operating in the country's agricultural sector. The prior elaborated fund will be designated to finance the following activities:

  1. Gov. Measure: Direct Payments for Vegetable Production
  2. Gov. Measure: Direct Payments for Livestock-related Production
  3. Gov. Measure: Direct Payments for Organic Agriculture Production
  4. Gov. Measure: Assistance with Insurance Premiums
  5. Gov. Measure: Assistance with Protecting Agricultural Land
  6. Gov. Measure: Assistance for specific categories of the Agricultural Sector
  7. Gov. Measure: Assistance for the Livestock Sector
  8. Gov. Measure: Assistance in the Implementation of Higher Quality Standards
  9. Financing Expenses related with the Implementation of the Program
  10. Financing Payment Obligations (related with the Program) from the preceeding Fiscal Year

 
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives thatare likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facinginternational competition, whether from imports, in export markets, andfrom foreign subsidiaries.
