Labour market access

On 1 July 2013, the Dutch government introduced stricter regulations for foreign workers in high-risk jobs. According to a press release, as of that day, foreigners will be allowed to work for instance as crane operators or asbestos removers only if they speak Dutch.
Consistent with other GTA measures on migration, the affected trading partners are those where the stock of migrants in the implementing jurisdiction exceeds 10'000 persons.
