In 2012 the Mississippi Development Authority provided a $75 million low-cost loan and up to $155 million in various tax incentives over a 10-year period to Virdia for a biofuel facility.
 
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives thatare likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facinginternational competition, whether from imports, in export markets, andfrom foreign subsidiaries.
