On 24 July 2013, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn (for clothing) from China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand (Notification 2013/15). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 5407.

On 21 January 2015, the Turkish authorities decided upon the continuation for a period of five years of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of the above-mentioned products originating in China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand (Notification 2015/3).
The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China ranges from 21.13% to 70.44% of the CIF value. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Chinese Taipei ranges from 4.17% to 30.84% of the CIF value. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Malaysia ranges from 2.33% to 15.93% of the CIF value. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in South Korea ranges from 4.39% to 40.0% of the CIF value. On 4 January 2020, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Thailand. Anti-circumvention

On August 11, 2014, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-circumvention investigation on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn from Bulgaria (Notification 2014/29).
This investigation follows suspicion that the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Notification 2008/25 dated August 1, 2008 on imports of the same products originating in China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand might be circumvented (see related intervention).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 5407.

On August 22nd, 2015, the Turkish authorities decided upon the extension of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn from China (see related intervention) to imports of the same products originating in Bulgaria (Notification 2015/41, 22.08.2015).
The rate of the duty is the same as the one imposed on imports originating in China: 21.13% of the CIF value or 70.44% of the CIF value, depending on whether the product is heavier or lighter than 110 gr/m2. The Bulgarian companies E Miroglio EAD and Belotex 95 JSC are not subject to this measure.

On 4 January 2020, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Thailand, see related intervention. This follows the application lodged by RB Karesi İthalat İhracat Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. The definitive antidumping duty will remain in force for the duration of the investigation. Since the antidumping duty imposed on woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn (for clothing) from China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Thailand was extended to imports of the same good from Bulgaria, the sunset review and its conclusion will hold for this country as well.
