Anti-dumping

On July 25, 2014, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of welding machines from China (Notification 2014/27).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8515.39.
The complaint was lodged by Magma Mekatronik Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.
On September 16th, 2015, the Turkish authorities imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of welding machines originating in China (Notification 2015/44, 16.09.2015).
The amount of the duty is USD 154 per piece, at the exception of the following companies whose exports are subject to a preferential treatment: Shanghai Hi-Zone Welding Equipment Manufacture Co., Ltd. (USD 29 per piece), Shanghai WTL Welding Equipment Manufacture Co., Ltd. (USD 64 per piece), Zhejiang Kende Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. (USD 115 per piece), Shanghai Hugong Electric (Group) Co., Ltd. (USD 90 per piece), Zhejiang Juba Welding Equipments Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (USD 91 per piece), Shenzhen Riland Industry Co., Ltd. (USD 73 per piece).
