In November 2014, the government of Republic of Korea initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in November 2015. In July 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended in July 2019.

On November 20, 2014, the South Korean authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of ethyl acetate originating in India.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 2915.31.
On 19 November 2015, the Korean authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of ethyl acetate originating in India. The rate of the duty imposed ranges between 8.56% and 22.20% depending on the exporting company.
On 10 July 2018, the Korean authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from India.
On 9 July 2019, the Korean authorities extended the definitive duty imposed on import of ethyl acetate from India for a new period following the conclusion of a sunset review. The rate of duty is between 8.56% and 19.84%.
