Anti-dumping

On September 25th, 2014, the Egyptian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of blankets (other than electric blankets) of synthetic fibres, with different sizes and weights, originating in China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 6301.40.
 
On August 25th, 2015, the Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade decided upon the imposition of a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the above-mentioned goods originating in China. The rate of the duty ranges from 54% to 77% of the CIF value.
