Anti-dumping

On May 13, 2014, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of electric ironing presses (weighing less than 51 kilograms) from China (Resolution 63/2014, 13.05.2014).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 8451.3099 and 8451.3091.
The complaint was lodged by Blanca Press S.A. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on May 17, 2014.

On April 20th, 2015, the Argentinian authorities issued the resolution concerning their provisional findings and decided to investigate further without imposing a provisional duty (Resolution 72/2015, 20.04.2015). Resolution 72/2015 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on April 24th, 2015.
 
On 30 October 2015, the Argentinian authorities decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the above-mentioned products originating in China (Resolution 1210/2015). The duty is USD 505.21 per unit. This definitive anti-dumping duty is applicable for a period of five years.
