On 13 July 2010, the Kazakhstani Government (according to Decree No. 709) introduced a duty at the amount of $20 per tonne on crude oil exports (4-digit code 2709). It also increased the introduced by Decree No. 1036 of 15 October 2005 export duties of oil distillates (4-digit code 2710) from $64.9 to $66.47 or $99.71 per tonne, and from $43.3 to $66.47.
This state measure comes into effect 30 days after its official publication.
