Import ban

 On 4 June 2012, Bangladesh lifted the import ban on salt, eggs and day-old chickens temporarily until 30 June 2012, in preperation for Ramadan. This measure was later extended until 31 August 2012.
 
The import ban on eggs had been introduced for sanitary reasons and is therefore not included in the affected sector list for this measure.
