Import tariff

Effective 1 January 2013, the government of the Republic of Macedonia eliminated its import tariffs on the following industrial products:

  1. plastics and articles thereof;
  2. articles of stone, plaster, cement, abestos, mica or similar material;
  3. articles of iron or steel;
  4. nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery, mechanical appliances, computers;
  5. railway or tramway locomotives, rolling stock, track fixtures, fittings, signals. 

Futhermore, the government also reduced its import tariffs from 15% and 10% to 5% for certain motor vehicles used in the transport of 10 or more persons.
