Local operations

On 3 December 2013 entered into force the Guidelines for Nigerian Content Development in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). They impede the business activates of foreign companies by introducing local content requirements (Section 10.1), obligations for local job creation and human capital development (Section 3.xxvi), and local storage inside the country of all government data (Section 14.1.3).
