Import ban

On the 31 December 2013, the Turkish government announced that imports of bulk spirits will be prohibited. The following products are affected by this prohibition:

  • beer produced of malt 
  • fresh grape wine and vermouth
  • other ferment beverages e.g. cidre or mead
  • alcoholic beverages derived from any kind of agricultural product
  • denatured alcohol
