On January 15, 2013, the Commission on Distortions of Chile decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of meat of fowls from Argentina (Decision No 349-01-0113).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 0207.1100, 0207.1210, 0207.1290, 0207.1300, 0207.1411, 0207.1419, 0207.1421, 0207.1422, 0207.1423, 0207.1424, 0207.1429 and 0207.1430.
The request was lodged on March 22, 2012 by the National Agriculture Society (Sociedad Nacional de Agricultura - SNA). The investigation started on January 23, 2013.
On April 5, 2013, the Commission on Distortions of Chile decided to terminate the investigation without imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty (Decision No 353-01-0413). The decision of the Commission was published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Chile on April 19, 2013.
