Import quota

On the 23 July 2014, the government of Turkey established an import quota for fresh and frozen meat originating from Bosnia. Until the end of the year, Bosnian meat producers may deliver up to 15,000 tons of both fresh and frozen meat free of import duty.
This compares to import tariffs of 100 and 225 percent outside the quota.
 
With Decree No. 2014/7133 it has been prolonged till 31 December 2015. 

On 12 February 2016, the Government extended the period of the ITQ until 31.12.2016, with the Decree No. 2016/8470.
