Anti-dumping

On 20 August 2009 the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation issued a decision to impose an anti-dumping duty of 11.6% on synthetic filament yarn (HS 5402.19.000.0, 5402.45.000.0, 5402.51.000 0 and 5402.61.000.0) from Ukraine. The duty will remain in place for 4 years from 25 September 2009.

On 22 June 2011, the Customs Union Commission issued Decree No. 700 replacing and thereby terminating the above antidumping duty, see related state act. The decision entered into force on 22 July 2011. According to article 4 of the "Agreement on the application of safeguard, antidumping and countervailing measures in transitional period" of 19 November 2010 when a trade defence measure imposed in the Customs Union enters into force the corresponding national measure is terminated. As such, the above antidumping duty was terminated on 22 July 2011.
