ANNOUNCEMENT 28 Oct 2010

On 28 October 2010, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) annouced the new export quotas for agricultural and industrial products. Qualified applicants may apply for the quota to the MOFCOM or to local commerce authorities. The MOFCOM will receive the application during November 1-15, 2010. Compared to 2010, export quotas changed for seven products:

An export quota was introduced for magnesite (1,850,000 tons). The export quota on tin and articles decreased from 21,000 tons to 189,000 tons.

The export quota on tungsten and articles increased from 14,300 tons to 15,700 tons. The export quota on antimony increased from 57,500 tons to 60,300 tons. The export quota on aluminous soil increased from 610,000 tons to 830,000 tons. The export quota on platinum increased from 5,100 tons to 5,760 tons. The export quota on talc increased from 610,000 tons to 680,000 tons.
