ANNOUNCEMENT 29 Oct 2009

On 29 October 2009, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) annouced the new export quotas for agricultural and industrial products. Qualified applicants may apply for the quota to the MOFCOM or to local commerce authorities. Compared to 2009, export quotas for 7 products have been changed in 2010:

Export tax

The export quota on tungsten and articles decreased from 14,600 tons to 14,300 tons. The export quota on tin and articles decreased from 23,300 tons to 210,000 tons. The export quota on antimony decreased from 58,700 tons to 57,500 tons. The export quota on magnesium decreased from 1,400,000 tons to 1,330,000 tons A new export quota for phosphate rock (1,500,000 tons) was introduced.

Export tax

The export quota on fluorides was removed, thus allowing unrestricted exports. The export quota on sawn wood increased from 110,000 m3 to 260,000 m3.
