In March 2014, the government of Turkey initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in April 2015. In March 2020, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was imposed for a new period in May 2021.

On March 26, 2014, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of motor hoe from China (Notification 2014/7).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8432.2990.
The complaint was lodged by Anadolu Motor Üretim ve Pazarlama A.S., Taral Tarim Makine ve Aletleri A.S. and Yagmur Tarim Makinalari San.ve Tic. A.S.
On April 17th, 2015, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of motor hoe from China (Notification 2015/6, 17.04.2015). The rate of the duty ranges from 49.49% to 92.25% of the CIF value, depending on the company. This duty shall remain in force for a period of five years.
On 20 March 2020, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive duty impose don imports of motor hoe from China. This follows the application lodged by Basmacıoğlu Makine San. A.Ş., Yağmur Tarım Makineleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Anadolu Motor Üretim ve Pazarlama A.Ş.
On 28 May 2021, the Turkish authorities issued a notification extending the definitive duty imposed on imports of motor hoe from China following the conclusion of the sunset review. The rate of the duty ranges from 49,49% to 92,25%. The notification extending the definitive duty entered into force on 28 May 2021.
