Import tariff

On 22 December 2010, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance issued regulation 241/PMK.011/2010imposing a 5% tariff on grain, feed and oilseed.
The products subject to the tariff increase included wheat, soybean, flour and soya bean oil. A complete list of the affected products is available in the appendix of the regulation.
The tariff came into force on the day the regulation was issued.
The import duty was later suspended by regulation 13/PMK.011/2011 (cf. Related Measures) for the period of February-December 2011. However, as the 5% duty is in force again as of 1 January 2012, this measure is still listed as implemented.
Furthermore, regulation 241/2010 included a temporary suspension on rice tariffswhich is treated accordingly (cf. Related Measures).
