Import tariff quota

On 1 June 2011, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued Resolution no. 39 reducing in-quota tariffs on:

  • Vaccines against hepatitis B (NCM 3002.20.23): free of duty, quota of 33 million doses
  • Vaccines against Vero cell rabies (NCM 3002.20.29): free of duty, quota of 3 million doses
  • Palm kernel (NCM 1513.29.10): 2%, quota of 222,500 tonnes

The measure took effect on 2 June 2011 and lasted for 12 months, i.e. until 1 June 2012.
