Import tariff

On 23 August 2010, the Federal Administration of Public Revenue of Argentina (AFIP) adopted General Resolution 2894/2010 extending to several new jurisdictions the reference prices set of tariffs subheading NCM 8708.99.90. The affected countries were Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Czechia, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.

The corresponding reference prices, which represent free on board values, range from USD 10.50 per kg to USD 13.00 per kg. Previously, no reference price on this tariff subheading applied to the affected jurisdictions.

The measure took effect on 24 August 2010.
