Anti-dumping

On February 26, 2013, the Egyptian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of tyres for buses and lorries from China and India.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 4011.2000.
On February 20, 2014, the Egyptian authorities extended the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of tyres for buses and lorries from China and India. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China ranges from 3.8% to 60% of the CIF value. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in India ranges from 46% to 59% of the CIF value.
 
On September 25, 2014, the Egyptian authorities initiated, upon a request from an exporter, an interim review as far as China as exporting country is concerned.
