In February 2013, the government of Egypt initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in January 2014. In February 2018, the definitive duty was terminated.

On February 19, 2013, the Egyptian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of porcelain or ceramic tableware from China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 6911.1000 and 6912.0000.
On January 23, 2014, the Egyptian authorities extended the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of porcelain or ceramic tableware from China. The rate of the duty is 268% of the CIF value.
On 24 February 2018, the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China was terminated.
