On 26 August 2013, China announced the removal of 130 tariff lines (at the 10-digit level) from the list of goods subject to automatic import licensing. The products involved fall into the broad categories of base metals (iron, steel, and copper), meat products, waste of paper and paperboard, natural gas, and electrical machinery products (steam turbines, water turbines and other electrical installations, and textile machinery).
