Anti-dumping

On August 5, 2008, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China decided to initiate a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of coated art paper from Japan and South Korea (MOFCOM Announcement No. 49 of 2008, 05.08.2008).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 4810.1300, 4810.1400 and 4810.1900.
This follows the application lodged by several Chinese companies on behalf of the domestic industry.
On August 4, 2009, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China decided upon the continuation of the anti-dumping duty on imports of coated art paper originating in Japan and South Korea (MOFCOM Announcement No. 54 of 2009, 04.08.2009). This duty entered into force on August 5, 2009 and is applicable for a period of five years.
On August 4, 2014, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China announced that the duty imposed on imports of coated art paper originating in Japan and South Korea will terminate on August 4, 2014 since no application has been filled for an extension (MOFCOM Announcement No. 48 of 2014, 04.08.2014).
