Anti-dumping

In a March 31, 2015 vote the U.S. International Trade Commission renewedthe existing anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders against importsof prestressed concrete steel wire strand from six countries.
In a Federal Register notice published on December 11, 2009 the U.S. Department of Commerce renewed the existing anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders against imports of prestressed concrete steel wire strand from six countries.
 
The original order on Japan dates from December 8, 1978; the orders on Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, and Thailand date to January 28, 2004, with the renewed order thus exceeding the five-year 'sunset' standard that generally applies to trade-remedy measures under WTO agreements (i.e., article 21.3 of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures and article 11.3 of the Anti-dumping Agreement).
