Public procurement localisation

On May 30, 2014 the House of Representatives approved the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2015 (H.R.4660). In the process of deliberating over the bill the House approved by voice vote an amendment stating that, 'None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to negotiate an agreement that includes a waiver of the 'Buy American Act'." As of this writing the bill is under consideration in the Senate.
