Anti-dumping

On August 14, 2008, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of sun/dust control polyester film from Chinese Taipei and the United Arab Emirates.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 3920.6904.
On August 13, 2009, the Indian authorities issued their final findings of the sunset review. They recommended the continuation of the existing anti-dumping measure.
On September 29, 2009, the Indian authorities issued the notification of extension of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of sun/dust control polyester film from Chinese Taipei and the United Arab Emirates (Notification No. 111/2009-Customs, 29.09.2009). This duty is effective for a period of five years.
