In August 2010, the government of Turkey initiated a sunset review and in June 2011 the definitive duty was extended for an additional period. In June 2016, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was again extended for a new period in December 2017.

Anti-dumping

On August 15, 2010, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of new pneumatic tyres, of rubber (of a kind used on buses or lorries, of a kind used on agriculture or forestry vehicles and machines, of a kind used on construction or industrial handling vehicles and other), from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 4011.2000, 4011.6100, 4011.6200, 4011.6300, 4011.6900, 4011.9200, 4011.9300, 4011.9400 and 4011.9900.
 
On June 21, 2011, the Turkish authorities extended the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of new pneumatic tyres, of rubber, from China. The rate of the duty is 60% of the CIF value.
 
On 19 June 2016, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of certain tyres from China (Notification 2016/21, 19.06.2016). It follows the application for a review lodged by Petlas Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.

On 2 December 2017, the Turkish authorities extended the antidumping duty imposed on the subject good from China following the conclusion of the above sunset review. The rate of duty is 60% of the CIF value.
