Anti-dumping

On September 21, 2012, the South African authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of plates and sheets, film, foil and strip of PVC from China and Chinese Taipei.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 3920.4900.
On May 10, 2013, the South African authorities decided upon the continuation of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of PVC rigid from China and Chinese Taipei. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China is 32.7%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Chinese Taipei is 226%.
