In July 2009, the government of Pakistan updated an existing Anti-dumping duty for the first time since the start of GTA monitoring. The duty was terminated in July 2013.

Anti-dumping

On July 16, 2008, the Pakistani authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of sorbitol 70% solution from France and Indonesia.
 
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 2905.4400 and 3824.6000.
 
On July 16, 2009, the Pakistani authorities extended the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of sorbitol 70% solution from France and Indonesia. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in France is 96.50%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Indonesia is 22.26%.
 
This duty expired on July 18, 2013.
