Anti-dumping

On December 4, 2010, the Pakistani authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of polyester filament yarn from Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
 
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 5402.3300 and 5402.4700.
 
On January 12, 2012, the Pakistani authorities extended the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of polyester filament yarn from Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Indonesia ranges from 0% to 4.32%, depending on the exporting company. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Malaysia ranges from 0% to 3.67%, depending on the exporting company. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in South Korea ranges from 0% to 6.92%, depending on the exporting company. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Thailand ranges from 0% to 8.41%, depending on the exporting company.
