Anti-dumping

On February 24, 2011, the Pakistani authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of formic acid 85% from Finland and Germany.
 
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2915.1100.
 
On February 17, 2012, the Pakistani authorities extended the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of formic acid 85% from Finland and Germany. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Finland is 13.63%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Germany is 6.25%. The measure came into force retrospectively on 8 March 2011 and is imposed for a period of 5 years.

On 8 March 2016, the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good expired.
