On 31 July 2009, the EC adjusted the import tariff quota scheme for frozen thin skirt of bovine animals.
The initial measure from 2008 (748/2008) foresees a 1500 tonnes tariff rate quota. The annual quota is allocated as follows:
The 2009 Regulation (694/2009) does not modify the quota levels but foresees the possibility to import additional quantities exceeding the quota levels. These additional quantities (amounting to 137.47 tonnes or 9.16 per cent of the actual quota level) are subject to import licenses. This adjustment could be construed as a relaxation of the tariff quota regime, hence its designation here as "green" in the GTA database.
