Export tax

On 29 June 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in export duties of wheat and corn.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will increase from USD 142 per ton to USD 146.1 per ton. Additionally, the export duty on corn will increase from USD 86.5 to USD 88.7 per ton. 

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 29 June 2022 and will be in effect until 5 July 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
