Export tax

On 22 June 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in export duties of wheat, barley and corn.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will increase from USD 131.6 per ton to USD 142 per ton. Additionally, the export duties of barley and corn will increase from USD 92.8 to USD 117.5 per ton and from USD 84 to USD 86.5 per ton, respectively. 

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 22 June 2022 and will be in effect until 28 June 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
