On 8 June 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in the export duties of wheat and corn. According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will increase from USD 121.2 per tonne to USD 129.2 per tonne. For corn, the export duty will increase from USD 73.9 per tonne to USD 78.7 per tonne.

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 8 June 2022 and will be in effect until 15 June 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
