In August 2012, the government of India initiated a sunset review and extended the duty in Janaury 2014. In June 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was terminated in January 2019.

On August 9, 2012, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of nonyl phenol from Chinese Taipei.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2907.1300.
On November 8, 2013, the Indian authorities decided upon the continuation of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of nonyl phenol from Chinese Taipei. The amount of the duty ranges from USD 163.62 to USD 364.48 per metric ton, depending on the company. Notification No. 05/2014-Customs was issued on January 16, 2014.
On 12 June 2018, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Chinese Taipei. This follows the application lodged by SI Group India Private Limited.
On 15 January 2019, the Indian authorities terminated the definitive duty imposed on imports of nonyl phenol from Chinese Taipei following the conclusion of a sunset review.
