On March 23, 2012, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of vitamin-A palmitate from China and Switzerland.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2936.2100.
On August 21, 2013, the Indian authorities decided to modify and extend the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of vitamin-A palmitate from China and Switzerland. The amount of the duty is USD 8.92 per kilogram for imports originating in Switzerland, at the exception of DSM Nutritional Products AG whose exports are subject to a duty of USD 7.34 per kilogram. The amount of the duty is USD 15.37 per kilogram for imports originating in China. This duty entered into force on November 13, 2013.
