On September 7, 2012, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of ductile iron pipes from China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7303.0030 and 7303.0090.
On September 4, 2013, the Indian authorities decided upon the continuation of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of ductile iron pipes from China. The amount of the duty is USD 139.79 per metric ton, at the exception of the company Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co. Ltd. whose exports are subject to a duty of USD 127.40 per metric ton. This duty entered into force on October 10, 2013.
